On behalf of the Governors, the staff, the pupils and myself it gives me great pleasure, as  Headteacher, to welcome you to Ysgol Deiniol. 

We are all extremely proud of our school and committed to providing the very best possible education for all of our children. 

The school mission statement is “The school will Support, Motivate and Inspire ALL pupils to Learn and Excel,” summarised as SMILE. This embeds a philosophy in the school where all are welcome, regardless of background or ability.  All are challenged to improve and the success of all is celebrated, both staff and pupils.  This statement greets visitors to the school, is visible throughout the school and is used as a reward for good performance.

I am very privileged to lead a team of extremely dedicated and supportive staff who work very hard to provide the best opportunities for all our pupils in a safe and happy school environment. We aim to build the skills, knowledge and positive attitudes necessary to help all our pupils become responsible, respectful and tolerant citizens of the future.
